Public Affairs Associates has extensive experience in managing both local candidate and ballot issue campaigns.  We offer full service management that incorporates all aspects of your campaign and your needs.

We work with local candidates primarily seeking election to their county board of supervisors or city council.  As a team, we identify the issues important to each specific community and develop a strategic plan that includes candidate message, fundraising, direct mail, field organization, endorsements, absentee and GOTV voter contact and all other aspects of the total campaign.

Our experience with local ballot measures includes school district bond measures, land use approvals, and sales tax measures.  Working with the campaign steering committee, we develop a strategic plan that gauges public opinion and delivers a message to targeted voters who support the initiative.

We are proud to have successfully managed and won the first ballot referendum campaign attempted in the City of San Jose and the first school bond measure to pass in the Town of Woodside.  Our most recent success was in East Palo Alto where we were able to secure passage of a ballot measure to approve the construction of an IKEA Furniture store.
